Papa New Guinea

World Impact Network has responded to many emergency situations in Papua New Guinea.

  • In 1998:  40,000 lbs. of food brought much needed relief to the hill tribes during a severe drought. The Red Cross was provided with milk for their hospitals.
  • In 1999:  A well drilling rig drilled 100 new wells providing much needed fresh drinking water.
  • In 2000:  A fully retrofitted ambulance was shipped from the U.S. to be used as a mobile medical clinic in the squatter settlements.
