Zambia, Africa

A young man and woman walked for hours across the mountains. She was 7 months pregnant and they came to see a doctor at the clinic site in the Gwemba valley of Monze, Zambia. The child had died within her. Another young mother brought her month old baby who had fallen into the fire. The child's face and body were severely burned. There seems to be an endless need in Africa for food, clothing, medication, and stationery. We have so much abundance in civilization. A team runs a medical "clinic" and attends to some of the most severe eye infections, septic skin sores and rashes, children who were burned - some severely, babies with severe bronchitis, people with malaria and malnutrition. WIN has financially contributed to the future building of a much needed health clinic. Construction should begin sometime later this year.
