WORLD IMPACT NETWORK
PARTNERS WITH CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRIES TO BRING THE HOPE OF A NEW
LIFE TO THE ORPHANS OF NORTHERN UGANDA
World Impact
Network’s philosophy has always been to support nationals working
in developing nations. They are the best people for the job! Erecting
our own flags and attempting to impose our own suppositions on the
frailties of a war torn, aids ravaged people would be an imposition
at best. Nationals who understand their own people and have a heart
to help their own communities should be supported in their efforts
by outsiders. One of the ways World Impact Network has helped in
Uganda over the last several years has been in the area of income
generating skill development. Over 250 women were trained in different
communities many of whom have now started their own businesses and
are employing others. This year World Impact Network will step up
its efforts to help Pastors Jackson and Eve Senyonga in their efforts
to clutch as many children out of the despicable conditions in refugee
camps as possible. They will then be introduced into a safe loving
caring environment where they can be spiritually, emotionally, physically
restored and educated.

The children
from these refugee camps have at a tender age, already experienced
the ravages of war and the pandemic of aids. This has brought them
a substantial amount of suffering, heartache, loss and emotional
devastation. They deserve the hope of a new life.
The Orphan
sponsorship program brings them this hope. It takes a $300 sponsorship
to provide a place at the orphanage, food, clothing, schooling,
and basic medical care. In addition these orphans will be raised
in a Christian environment. Those with HIV/AIDS will require some
additional funding.

Follow these
links to see some of the profiles of these children and to read
more about Joseph Kony and the Lords Resistance Army which has waged
war on the children of Northern Uganda for the last twenty years.
Please pray
that as September 19th looms Joseph Kony will turn himself over
as agreed with the governments of Uganda and Southern Sudan.
