UPDATE: WORLD IMPACT NETWORK PARTNERS WITH CHRISTIAN LIFE MINISTRIES TO BRING THE HOPE OF A NEW LIFE TO THE ORPHANS OF NORTHERN UGANDA

 

World Impact Network has committed to the training of the women of Uganda for a five year period. Teams from the U.S. travel each year to the capital city of  Kampala to share time and skills with the local residents. The training includes various craft skills such as jewelry making, flower arrangement, cake decorating, as well as hand and machine sewing.

These skills give unemployed women the means to support themselves and their dependents, by starting their own small businesses. Over 200 women and several men, who are taught different constructions skills, attend the training sessions. A twenty member local leadership team has been developed to continue training and encouraging once overseas teams have left.
