Special
Prayer Request
Special Prayer Day for Shiromi Edirisinghe
Mrs. Shiromi Edirisinghe (widow of the late Pastor Neil Edirisinghe) who sustained
gun shot injuries in the attack that killed her husband on the 17th of February
2008 still remains in a critical condition. We thank God that she has regained
consciousness. However, she is still unable to breath on her own.
We make this very urgent and special request to solicit the prayers of the entire
Christian community for Shiromi. It is our humble request that you pray for
Shiromi, by name, during your Church Sunday worship service on 16th March 2007.
We thank all of you who pray for her, their son and the Church and all those
who have made numerous inquiries as to Shiromi's wellbeing.
Fund for Shiromi and son
Pastor Edirisinghe was pastor of an independent Church and as such his family
has no means of income or support for their future. NCEASL has set up a fund
to help Shiromi and their son. If anyone would like to contribute to this fund,
please share this information with your Church and friends.
Contributions can be made by cheque in favour of: 'Evangelical Alliance of Sri
Lanka'. Please indicate (by covering letter) that it is for the Edirisinghe
family.
Thank you for your prayers.
